Requirements for Obtaining an EU Blue Card in Latvia
1. Qualifications
- Higher education (minimum 3-year study program), or
- 5+ years of professional experience
2. Salary Level
- For positions with labor shortage in Latvia: minimum €1,265 after taxes + €1,015 taxes per month (gross €1,844)
- For other positions: minimum €1,582 after taxes + €1,268 taxes per month (gross €2,306)

Validity Period

Application Process

- Apostilled criminal record certificate (valid for 6 months) for all persons over 14 years
- Education diploma with apostille or work experience certificate and tax authority statement with apostille
For Family Reunification
- Marriage certificate (with apostille)
- Children's birth certificates (with apostille)
- Notarized consent for minor child's residence in Latvia (for children from previous marriages)
- Bank statement proving sufficient funds (minimum €8,400 per adult and €2,520 per child, valid for 3 months)
